23 Sep 2007 - Cubs Eye for Bounty

18 1st Lymington and Pennington cubs attended a Corsairs Camp near Brockenhurst last weekend which included a trip to the Southampton boat show to explorer a pirate ship and meet Cpatain Jack. At the camp they took part in a treasure hunt, explored the "Island" and made treasure chests, Pirate bandanas and eyepatches. For many of them it was the first time camping and the first time all of them had put up and taken down their own tents. As a direct result of the camp 25 badges were awarded the following week including 10 Outdoor Challenge Badges. The food was good , the sun shone and one cub on his first camp declared it "the best experience ever".
