16 Nov 2007 - 2 teams in District Junk Wars

Last weeks Junk Wars saw two teams from Lymington and Pennington Cubs take part with one acheiving an excellent 2nd place.

The Cubs were tasked to build a castle out of junk and a working catapult capable of firing a tennis ball from one end of the hall to the other.

They were competing against 10 other teams from 6 other packs in the New Forest South district.

The winners were a team from Sway whose teamwork was excellent from the off. Congratulations go out to them and thank you to the judges who did an excellent job despite finding it hard not to get involved in the building.
